Purchasing Administrator Position

This Purchasing Administrator role requires an individual who can effectively negotiate with suppliers, handle various administrative duties, and manage key supplier accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

The role involves:

  • Negotiating with and purchasing from suppliers on a daily basis.
  • Handling a range of administrative tasks to support the Purchasing & Facilities department.
  • Reconciling and authorizing invoices while addressing any supplier-related issues.
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable on the invoice payment process.

Apart from these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring delivery dates and times, advising staff of arrivals and departures, and dealing with internal customers. Strong computer skills, particularly in SAP, Excel, and Word, are also necessary for this role.

Key requirements include:

  • Previous purchasing experience is preferred.
  • A full driving license.
  • Cost-consciousness.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in SAP, Excel, and Word.
