Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation and delivery of payroll data, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.

This role involves regular interaction with internal departments, secure handling of confidential records, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

The Payroll Officer will be instrumental in maintaining payroll efficiency across the business and supporting the wider finance and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and verify employee timekeeping data and enter records for processing
  • Maintain payroll records for new starters, leavers, and contractual changes
  • Handle payroll-related queries from staff across various departments
  • Generate payroll reports and summaries as required by the finance team
  • Support payroll-related audits by preparing and organising documentation
  • Cordinate onboarding and leaver documentation in line with payroll procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Background in payroll or finance administration
  • Comfortable working with sensitive data in a confidential environment
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Confidence using payroll systems and MS Office (Excel in particular)
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • Eager to learn and develop within a supportive team
