Personal Lines Insurance Sales Representative

As a Personal Lines Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in helping customers achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on insurance products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the team to ensure all customer needs are met through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Handling web enquiries and client questions, successfully closing sales across a broad range of products.
  • Guiding customers through the sales journey, clearly communicating product benefits and cover options.
  • Making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products, provide advice, and close sales.
  • Supporting the team manager in executing targeted campaigns to boost sales.
Sales And Activity Management
  • Collaborating with the team to prioritize workloads effectively and adapt to unexpected challenges.
  • Managing time and resources to meet monthly and annual team targets.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with customers by anticipating their needs, sharing relevant information, and consistently meeting commitments.
  • Resolving any queries or issues customers may have regarding quotes or policy details.
Requirements
  • Preferably having a strong background in sales or customer service.
  • Minimum of 1 year's relevant insurance experience.
  • Compliance with Central Bank Minimum Competency Requirements, APA (Personal General Insurance) qualification at minimum, with willingness to pursue further certifications.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong IT skills; knowledge of Relay/Applied is an advantage.
