Technical Field Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Field Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support to our customers.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Field Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex issues with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and diagnose complex technical problems with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Perform installations, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on equipment installed at customer sites
  • Maintain an assigned installation equipment base and report out to both onsite customers and local management on a regular basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities
Requirements:
  • Higher Certificate or Apprenticeship in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or an Ordinary Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software systems is desirable
  • Ability to work independently without direct instruction or supervision, taking ownership for tasks and activities associated with our systems business
  • Eligibility to live and work in Ireland
