About the Role

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness and support for the Irish Cancer Society
  • Lead the research, creation, and production of all major Irish Cancer Society marketing campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date content across all the Irish Cancer Society web presences
  • Work closely with the Education and Engagement Team to improve, update, and innovate the Society's cancer information

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience of creative and technical skills through a portfolio of work
  • Strong experience in journalism, copywriting, or related writing experience
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and an understanding of best practice in usability
  • Experience in directly editing and publishing online content using Drupal or similar Content Management System
