CAD Technician Job

Our organization seeks a skilled CAD Technician to support engineers in producing accurate technical drawings and models. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on projects including foundations, retaining structures, ground improvement, and earthworks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality drawings for reports, design submissions, and construction packages.
  • Maintain and manage drawing files according to company standards and project requirements.
  • Interpret engineering sketches, notes, and design calculations to create clear, accurate drawings.
  • Support the development of digital workflows and contribute to BIM integration where applicable.
  • Work closely with project engineers and other team members to ensure design intent is captured.
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, CAD Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a CAD Technician, preferably in a civil, structural, or geotechnical environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or similar BIM tools beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with civil and geotechnical engineering principles (foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, ground modeling, etc.) desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
