
Retail Operations Leader

This role involves leading and managing daily retail operations across Ireland to achieve business objectives and maximize profitability.
As a Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and directing store management and teams in your area, setting performance goals, evaluating operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and being accountable for area KPIs and overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Operations and Management
- Coach and motivate teams to deliver the Business Strategy.
- Monitor and drive store performance through key metrics, financial reviews, and timely corrective actions.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent operational standards, compliance, and health & safety.
- Optimize store operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising to enhance availability, sales, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with head office and stakeholders to provide feedback, influence product range decisions, and support change initiatives.
- Commercial and Financial Performance
- Deliver sales and profitability targets while controlling costs and optimizing each store's profit and loss statement.
- Manage payroll forecasts, ensuring schedules align with customer demand and productivity.
- Stay informed about local markets and trends, adapting plans to maximize commercial opportunities.
- Customer Focus and Brand Alignment
- Maintain a relentless focus on delivering an engaging, best-in-class customer experience.
- Analyze customer feedback and service metrics to set goals, improve service, and inform commercial decisions.
- E nsure all initiatives align with company brand values and customer strategy.
- Leadership and People Development
- Drive the development of high-performing stores that support the company's future growth strategy.
- Lead by example, creating a high-performance culture with clear goals, accountability, and recognition.
- Develop and succession-plan for store managers and high-performing teams, building commercial acumen and leadership capability.
