Job Description

The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced engineering team working across multiple divisions. They will have the opportunity to develop through both internal and external training programs and will be given the opportunity to grow their career in a dynamic production environment.

About the Role

  • Support process development and cost reduction activities within business units.

  • Foster a work environment of continuous improvement that supports commitment to Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations for manufacturing environment.

  • Ownership of plant metrics from an engineering perspective.

  • Provide technical and operational support to manufacturing operations.

  • Leverage structured problem-solving methodologies.

  • Engage in implementation of lean manufacture within manufacturing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.

  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Benefits and Opportunities

  • Experience within CNC machining, Process Validation, Coating or Clean and Pack fields is preferable but not essential.

  • Confident and effective decision maker, with proven leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Proven Project Management skills through delivery of cost saving/process improvement projects.

  • Demonstrable analytical & problem-solving skills resulting in tangible results to the business.

  • Able to prioritise issues based on business need and manage multiple tasks and projects.
