GPU Developer Tools Engineer

Our team is seeking a skilled Graphics Developer Tools Engineer to design and develop high-performance profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tools for our next-generation GPU hardware.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C/C++, or demonstrated proficiency in tools and/or application development with C#, Rust, or Go. Experience with graphics applications using Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL or graphics development through Unity, Unreal Engine, or a comparable graphics or game engine is highly valued.

Responsibilities include collaborating with GPU hardware and software teams on performance validation and analysis, debugging issues, optimizing for the user experience, and working with the developer ecosystem, partners, and OEMs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GPU hardware and graphics concepts, as well as recent trends such as ray tracing, mesh shading, and work graphs.

  • Design and develop high-performance profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tools features.

  • Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams on performance validation and analysis.

  • Debug issues, optimize for the user experience, and work with the developer ecosystem, partners, and OEMs.

  • Shape how developers optimize for the Snapdragon Adreno GPU and gain insight into next-generation GPU hardware design.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, 2+ years of software engineering or related work experience, and 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Applications from candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
