Lead Android Developer

Job Description:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality Android applications and platform components for mission-critical two-way radios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, system testing, project management, quality assurance, and hardware engineering.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects while managing resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product requirements and lead all aspects of the product development process.
  • Manage engineering and project resources for products.
  • Responsible for timeline alignment and resources management.
  • Collaborative inter- and intra-group teamwork in a global, multi-site development environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in developing Android applications using Kotlin or Java with familiarity with the Android SDK.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with back-end services via RESTful APIs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in modern mobile and frontend build pipelines and development tools.
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git.
