The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of managing technology strategies and portfolios. They should have experience in formulating technology visions, partnering with business leaders to create multi-year product roadmaps, and coordinating IT deliveries across products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define and prioritize portfolio objectives, ensuring they are aligned with the company's vision.
  • Coordinate IT deliveries across products, working closely with Product Delivery Engineering Leads to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
  • Review technical debt and obsolescence, identifying opportunities to improve the portfolio's overall health.
  • Manage the overall portfolio budget and allocation to products, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Define and prioritize portfolio objectives, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Work with Product Delivery Engineering to ensure software delivery is lean, agile, and efficient from requirements to production.
  • Foster a culture of value creation, growth, and customer satisfaction within the portfolio.
  • Ensure pods and squads are staffed with skilled individuals by coordinating with internal resource providers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing technology strategies and portfolios.
  • A broad understanding of technology and its application to solve business problems.
  • Experience in senior leadership positions, partnering with senior business leaders to define strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in a technology context.
