Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Hydrologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary group, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, management, and modelling of surface water and groundwater systems.

You will be responsible for conducting hydrological and hydrogeological assessments for environmental impact assessments (EIAs), flood risk assessments (FRAs), and water resource projects. You will also develop and calibrate hydrological models using tools such as HEC-HMS, SWMM, Infoworks ICM, or MIKE SHE.

In addition, you will analyze rainfall-runoff data, groundwater levels, and flow monitoring data. You will support climate resilience planning and nature-based solutions through hydrological input.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydrological and hydrogeological assessments for environmental impact assessments (EIAs), flood risk assessments (FRAs), and water resource projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in environmental or engineering hydrology.
  • Proficiency in hydrological modelling software and GIS (ArcGIS or QGIS).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and report writing skills.
