Lead Flue System Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to oversee the design, tendering, and delivery of flue systems for large-scale industrial and commercial projects across Ireland and Europe.

  • Manage the mechanical design function for flue systems on industrial and commercial projects.
  • Coordinate design activities between in-house, manufacturing, and site-based teams.
  • Oversee the preparation of tender documentation, technical submissions, and project designs.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams across design and delivery stages.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within industrial or commercial construction.
  • Strong background in steelwork fabrication and site-based project delivery.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and related IT tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
