This role involves overseeing and managing engineering works on multiple projects across the Leinster region. We are seeking a highly organized individual with 3-4 years of experience as a Site Engineer to take on this challenging opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and checking works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building regulations, and supervising subcontractors and personnel on site. They will also organize their own schedule week-to-week based on activities taking place on site, support the Senior Engineer/Project Manager/Contracts Manager in ensuring works are completed as per programme, and work closely with the design team and architects to overcome any technical issues that may arise during the construction stage.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, minimum 4 years of experience in an engineer role with a Main Contractor or Developer in Ireland, and experience with residential Construction is essential. They should also have experience managing a Team of Engineers, working closely with architects and design teams, and supporting senior management. Additionally, they should be able to use setting out instruments and be competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
