Senior Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities on our residential projects in North East Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to manage site teams and ensure projects are completed to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including providing technical inputs and resolving technical issues
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of the construction project
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, records, and documentation
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
  • Monitor and manage use of materials, equipment, and resources on site to optimize productivity and minimize wastage
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site team and subcontractors as required
  • Assist in preparation of project schedules, work plans, and method statements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in residential construction industry
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with ability to effectively manage site team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required
