Senior Nursing Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nursing Leader to join our hospital team.

The role of the Senior Nursing Leader is a critical position that reports directly to the Director of Nursing. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the hospital.

  • Provide professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on clinical matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policy and strategy, aligning with the hospital's overall objectives.
  • Develop and manage nursing roles to meet the evolving needs of patients.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMBI.
  • A Level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Health or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology are desirable.
  • At least seven years of experience in an acute hospital setting following registration.
  • A minimum of four years of management experience at CNM II level or above in an acute hospital setting.
