Job Title: Real-Time Data Analyst
">This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, monitoring and responding to real-time alarms and events across operational systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing telemetry data trends, escalating issues as needed, and contributing to improved service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:- Alarm Response: Monitor and respond to real-time alarms and events to ensure quick resolution and minimize customer impact.
- Data Analysis: Analyse telemetry data trends and escalate issues as needed to contribute to improved service delivery.
- Security Management: Oversee lone worker and security management systems to ensure staff safety and asset security.
- SCADA Support: Provide remote SCADA support for operational infrastructure and contribute to fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Cross-Disciplinary Expertise: Work across multiple disciplines including water, wastewater, and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support performance targets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Reporting and Insights: Maintain accurate system data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and performance improvements.
- Scheduling and Dispatch: Schedule and dispatch field teams and contractors, adapting plans as required to meet customer priorities.
- Emergency Services: Act as the first point of contact for emergency services and regulatory bodies, escalating incidents per procedures.
- Shift Work: Participate in a 24/7 shift and on-call rota, maintaining thorough shift records and effective handovers.
- Education: 5 GCSEs to include English and Math.
- Experience: 2 years experience in a customer centric role or operational role which involves analysing and interpreting system data.
- Communication: Experience communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Deadlines: Experience working to challenging deadlines in a regulated or customer service environment.
- Software Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft office packages.
Access NI Check: A Basic Access NI check is required for this post. Postholders are also required to undertake enhanced security vetting as postholders have access to critical national infrastructure on a daily basis. Counter Terrorism Check: Therefore, in addition to the basic Access NI security clearance, the successful candidate will be required to complete a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) as part of the pre-employment checking process.
