As a seasoned environmental laboratory supervisor, you will oversee all laboratory activities to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve coordinating daily lab operations, prioritizing tasks for maximum efficiency, and supporting the lab team with testing, recording, and reporting of results.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure laboratory activities comply with ISO 17025 standards
- Coordinate daily lab operations and prioritize tasks for maximum efficiency
- Support the lab team with testing, recording, and reporting of results
- 3rd level qualification in a Science discipline (Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental laboratory settings, with a focus on wastewater and domestic water analysis
- Proficient in inorganic chemistry principles and methodologies
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team
This role requires a proactive approach to assisting in the development of the laboratory and SOPs, as well as an active participation in internal audits and safety lab walkthroughs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, good IT skills, and excellent communication skills.
