Diagnostic Laboratory Professional

As a diagnostic laboratory professional, you will have the opportunity to work closely with consultant microbiologists and be involved in managing and monitoring infectious diseases. For success in this role, active registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) is required. Previous experience in microbiology and/or infectious diseases is desirable.

  • Working closely with Consultant Microbiologists
  • Managing and Monitoring Infectious Diseases
  • Advising on Antibiotic Utilisation and Stewardship
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams in Patient Care
