The Role
  • We collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and Engineering to identify and incorporate customer needs and use cases into testing strategies and feature designs.
  • Our team advocates for the resolution of critical issues and communicates the impact on customers to the development team(s).
  • Upstream communities play a vital role in this field; evaluating new technologies and considering integrations and collaborations is essential.
  • We run technical initiatives that grow, improve, and scale existing processes.
  • Regular communication with project stakeholders including other teams of engineers, product managers, consultants, management, and senior leadership is crucial.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Software Quality Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test, DevOps Engineer, or similar role is required.
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python and Bash are necessary.
  • Experience testing distributed and containerized environments is also important.
  • Implementing scalable automation frameworks in collaboration with Software, DevOps, and Release Engineers is an asset.
  • The ability to quickly learn and use new tools and technologies is essential.
