Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Organisational Design Specialist to join our dynamic People and Talent team at our head office in Banbridge. As part of this role, you will be responsible for conducting organisational assessments to identify areas for improvement, aligning development strategies with business goals, and facilitating strategic planning sessions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct organisational assessments using surveys, interviews, and observations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Align organisational development strategies with business goals and facilitate strategic planning sessions.
  • Lead change management initiatives and manage resistance to change to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop training programs, including leadership development and succession planning.
  • Facilitate workshops to promote teamwork and collaboration and support enhancing team dynamics.
  • Review and refine performance management systems and consult on performance appraisals.
  • Advise on structural changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness and help redesign processes.
  • Initiate programs to foster a positive organisational culture and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop talent acquisition and retention strategies and implement employee engagement programs.
  • Provide coaching to executives and develop mentoring programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or Organisational Development.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess organisational structures and recommend improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in change management and systems thinking.
  • Business acumen to ensure organisational designs align with company goals.
  • Relevant industry experience in organisational design within HR, management consulting, or business operations.
  • Leadership experience and experience working with senior management on strategic initiatives.
  • Certifications such as CIPD, CCMP, Six Sigma, or Lean are preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
