Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to take on a key role in our finance function and contribute to the success of our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, performing reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet accounts, and conducting monthly review of intercompany reconciliations. They will also be required to prepare consolidated management accounts for Irish entities, support the budgeting and forecasting processes, manage year-end audit engagements and corporation tax return submissions, liaise with regulatory bodies, and ensure timely submission of VAT and VIES returns.

Key Qualifications
  • Post-qualification experience of 1–2 years in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong academic background with solid technical accounting skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confident communicator, able to build effective working relationships across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach and desire to learn.
