We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to take on a challenging role in financial management.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial analysis, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, managing day-to-day financial operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.
  • Conduct regular financial audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Thorough understanding of Irish GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
