Scientific Research Associate

The R&D Technician I role is a vital position within our organization. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working closely with scientists and engineers to develop, optimize, and qualify required technologies, test methods, materials, processes, and products.
This includes conducting material and product testing in a methodical and accurate way to capture results in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice. Additionally, the candidate will drive the planning and building of trial product, including sourcing materials, inspection, labeling, shipping, and storage as directed.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 7 qualification in a technical or scientific related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant industry experience preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, or packaging industries.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Technical Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication skills (written, interpersonal, and verbal), and teamwork orientation.
- Desirable Experience: Familiarity with medical device laboratory and manufacturing environments, knowledge of handling chemicals and hazardous materials, manufacturing tooling experience, and prototype development.
