Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Law Specialist to join our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer with strong commercial law experience to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice on a range of commercial matters, including contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. They will work closely with our business teams to understand their needs and provide practical solutions.

This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial law and its application in a professional services context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice on commercial contracts, including negotiation and drafting.
  • Advising on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
  • Assisting with regulatory compliance, including data privacy and anti-money laundering.
  • Working with business teams to understand their needs and provide practical solutions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial law and its application in a professional services context.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
