Galway University Hospitals Seeking Experienced Healthcare Professionals

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the position of Healthcare Assistant at Galway University Hospitals.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and participating in education and training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be considered for this role, applicants must have relevant experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within a hospital or residential environment. A Health Skills Level 5 qualification is also required, with completion expected within an agreed timeframe.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. A calm and composed demeanor under pressure is essential, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.

Location:Initial assignment will be to Pool at Galway University Hospitals. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.
