Senior Automation Systems Engineer

This is a challenging role for an experienced automation and IT professional to lead the implementation of automation and IT systems in a life science manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities will include ensuring that automation and IT design meets industry standards, providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure facility and systems design meet company expectations, exhibiting up-to-date technical knowledge, communicating regularly with project managers and collaborating with IT and OT teams to maintain cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or similar
- Minimum 7 years' experience implementing automation design and interfacing to OSI PI for cybersecurity projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital systems including LIMS, MES, and ERP and how they interact with the OT layer
- Experience in designing, configuring and installing automation and IT systems
- Prior experience working within highly regulated GxP environments in the life sciences industry
- High degree of autonomy to reach full potential
- Develop new skills and enhance technical ability by working with innovative technologies
