This is a unique chance to become part of a dynamic team as an Investor Reporting Specialist. The role requires coordination with various teams to facilitate investor reporting, investment accounting, and data integrity functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds during the loan's pre-funding and funding period by collaborating closely with investor/fund administrator, trade management, and treasury teams.
  • Prepare daily and periodic investment reports, including valuations, investor remittance files, and other financial statements while coordinating with internal and external parties related to reporting.
  • Work closely with Loan Services' operational groups and the Data Integrity Team to communicate, research, and resolve daily data transmission and feed issues.
  • Verify accuracy in bank account reconciliations, investor files, and wire transfers.
  • Analyze investment management & servicing agreements, regulations, standard operating procedures, and loan documents to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are met. Prepare applicable journal entries based on reconciliations.
  • Participate in new investor meetings and be involved with creating project plans, working closely with high-profile global investors and funds.
  • Assist in identifying efficiencies, including process automation of reporting and data feeds, writing project plans, and taking the lead in executing plans.
  • Support RegAB, SOC1, SOX, and other internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting is preferred.
  • Accounting or Finance experience is required.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work based on established deadlines.
  • Familiarity with database and data structures is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as effectively collaborate in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Knowledge of Accounting Information Systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word), PowerBI, and Microsoft SQL would be beneficial.
