Job Title:

Water Treatment Process Operator

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Process Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation and maintenance of drinking water treatment plants or similar processes.

About the Role:

  • Operate and maintain drinking water treatment plants, with experience in similar process environments considered.
  • Perform routine operational duties, regular maintenance tasks, and process monitoring/analysis.
  • Participate in on-site laboratory analysis, process optimization, and heavy manual work when required.
  • Monitor and control process operations, perform basic mechanical maintenance and repair, and participate in general housekeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process control and operation of equipment
  • Monitoring and analysis of process data
  • BASIC MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
  • Instrumentation calibrations and verifications
  • Heavy manual work and site-specific tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of drinking water treatment plants or similar processes
  • Ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computers and ability to use spreadsheets and other basic computer programs
  • Qualification in instrumentation and/or science discipline advantageous
