Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
">We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects from a cost management perspective.
">Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and ISO standards;">
- Liaising with contracts managers and managing quantity surveyors to prepare interim and final accounts;">
- Reconciling contract documents versus tender documents received;">
- Maintaining project variation folders and monitoring requirements in terms of variation notifications;">
- Preparing subcontractor and supplier enquiry packages;">
- Analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes for compliance with contract documents;">
- Negotiating subcontract and supplier prices and terms;">
- Appointing project subcontractors and issuing insurances for approval prior to award of contract;">
- Issuing completed eRCT forms to internal accounts prior to subcontractor commencement on site;">
- Preparing internal subcontractor payment certificates;">
- Negotiating subcontractors' and suppliers' final accounts;">
- Monitoring site subcontractor files so that project teams are aware of subcontractor package scope;">
- Assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities and pricing of bills of quantities where necessary on tenders;">
- Filing all project records in accordance with the project filing matrix requirements;">
- Liaising and coordinating with kilcawley project teams as necessary;">
- Carrying out site visits and attending project meetings;">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
">- ">
- A professional qualification in quantity surveying/commercial management;">
- No less than 10 years' experience in a senior quantity surveyor role on construction projects;">
- The ability to work on large-scale, high-headcount construction sites and sub-contractors;">
- Liaise with contracts managers and managing quantity surveyors when dealing with internal stakeholders and clients' representatives while on site, including attendance at meetings;">
- Strong time management skills;">
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation and IT skills;">
- A strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site;">
- The ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals;">
- Experience working on a variety of building contracts is advantageous but not essential;">
- Excellent negotiation and commercial judgement skills;">
