Associate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex building services projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative and sustainable mechanical solutions that incorporate net-zero carbon principles and embodied carbon analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration and successful delivery.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
  • Oversee contractor coordination and manage on-site work, including commissioning and maintenance considerations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience, most of which within a consultancy environment.
  • Previous design experience in data centre projects.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or near chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and relevant industry standards.
