School Transportation Management Specialist

About the Role

As a School Transportation Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of school transportation programs. This includes supervising daily operations, developing bus routes and schedules, and administering driver training and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting drivers for interviews and recommending them for employment
  • Ensuring drivers and substitutes are trained, certified, and available to meet requirements
  • Supervising school bus drivers to ensure they perform daily bus inspections and maintain cleanliness
  • Developing and implementing procedures for drivers to follow
  • Maintaining accurate records of bus usage, maintenance, and safety incidents
  • Coordinating with other departments to resolve complaints and issues related to transportation
  • Gathering data and preparing reports for state education authorities
Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in school transportation management. Key qualifications include:
