Head Golf Coach 2023-2024 SY - A Challenging Opportunity for the Right Candidate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced golf coach to lead our team and provide a high-quality learning experience for students. As the Head Golf Coach, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a comprehensive sports program that meets the needs and interests of the district and community.

Your primary focus will be on instructing students and managing their behavior during practice sessions and competitions. You will also be required to exercise strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure a smooth operation of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to enhance student performance and achieve program goals.
  • Schedule and coordinate competitions, including transportation and accommodations for out-of-town events.
  • Evaluate student athletes' progress and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Athletic Director to plan and implement instructional goals and objectives for student athletes' development.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, including those related to academic requirements and recruiting practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum three to five years coaching experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of NCAA regulations and ability to apply them in a coaching setting.
