Job Title

This is a great opportunity to lead and inspire student athletes as a Head Girls Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will organize, coordinate and promote a comprehensive sports program designed to meet the needs and interests of the district and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct students and manage their behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Utilize strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and engage student athletes.
  • Hold a Coaching Principles Certificate (NFHS or ASEP) and maintain current certifications in CPR, concussion, and heat acclimatization.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance coaching techniques and procedures.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Employ various instructional techniques and media to enhance student athletes' abilities in assigned sports.
  • Manage athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions promoting growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
  • Collaborate with school staff to plan and implement instructional goals and objectives ensuring overall educational development of student athletes.
  • Establish performance criteria for competition and evaluate students' athletic abilities regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations, including NCAA guidelines on academic requirements and recruiting practices.
