The Job
This EHS Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to work with our Cork site team, reporting directly to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager. As an EHS Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and implementing high EHS standards and influencing a proactive EHS operating culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement EHS standards to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Support the development and implementation of EHS strategies across the Cork site.
- Collaborate with the EHS team to maintain EHS systems, including chemical management and accident/incident reporting.
- Work closely with Regulatory Authorities, external and internal key stakeholders, and the local management team to achieve EHS goals.
- Continuously improve a proactive EHS operating culture by seeking out opportunities and developing new ideas.
- Participate in site and EHS goal setting, Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability initiatives.
