Endocrinology Team Lead

We seek a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our endocrinology team. With cutting-edge facilities, this hospital provides a supportive environment for medical directors to offer exceptional care in endocrinology, utilising the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.
Main Responsibilities:- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and pituitary conditions.
- Develop tailored treatment plans that address individual patient needs and ensure optimal management of chronic and acute endocrine conditions.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nutritionists, diabetes educators, surgeons, and other specialists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
- Lead and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff, promoting a collaborative and educational environment.
- Engage in research and evidence-based practice to advance endocrine treatments and protocols, contributing to improved patient outcomes and best practices in the field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years at the consultant level in Endocrinology, with extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of endocrine disorders.
- Registration: Active Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration is preferred, or you should be in the process of obtaining it.
- Excellent English language skills, with the ability to clearly and empathetically communicate complex information to patients and families.
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
