Lab Director Opportunity

We seek a seasoned laboratory professional to oversee our microbiology function in a cutting-edge facility. As the primary leader, you will spearhead all testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled microbiologists and direct daily lab operations to guarantee high-quality results and efficient workflow.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement effective microbial control strategies for site-wide environmental monitoring and cleanroom qualification.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the microbiology lab in cross-functional meetings and regulatory inspections.
  • Support method development, validation, and transfer activities.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical microbiology, including leadership or supervisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of contamination control, regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA), and sterile processing techniques.
  • Strong technical expertise in microbiological methods, environmental monitoring, and investigation/audit management.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
