Job Description

O'Donoghue Ring Collection's Hotels and Venues in Killarney and Castleisland, Co. Kerry, are seeking a seasoned Hospitality Professional to fill the role of Senior Assistant Manager.

This full-time position will report directly to the Hotel Manager and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 52-bedroom, 3-star hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Hotel Manager in leading daily operations, ensuring all departments function cohesively and to a high standard.
  • Provide hands-on support across departments when needed, maintaining a visible leadership presence throughout the property.
  • Coordinate functions and events, executing client specifications to the highest standards.
  • Monitor operational quality, service consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Anticipate and proactively respond to guest needs, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns efficiently, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Maintain service excellence and operational precision throughout the guest journey.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a department manager within a hotel environment, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
