We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Senior Sales Executive
to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, securing, and growing business across various segments, with a focus on trade shows, client engagement, and MICE opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role requires a proactive approach, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the O'Donoghue Ring Collection at domestic and international trade shows, networking events, and client functions.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel trade, event organisers, and industry partners.
Drive sales in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing partnerships.
Collaborate with the Head of Sales to implement strategic plans and achieve revenue targets across leisure, corporate, and group business.
Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Conduct regular site inspections and familiarisation trips with clients and agencies.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform sales strategies.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM tools and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a hospitality sales role, preferably at a senior or strategic level.
Proven experience in MICE sales is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated success in developing and converting business leads, especially within the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Experience representing a brand at trade shows and industry events is desirable.
Knowledge of the Irish tourism market and key international source markets.
