A dynamic and results-driven professional is sought to spearhead sales initiatives across various sectors. This key role involves identifying, securing, and growing business opportunities through strategic partnerships and networking.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client functions to build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel trade, event organisers, and industry partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of connections to drive sales growth in the MICE sector, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing partnerships.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to implement strategic plans and achieve revenue targets across leisure, corporate, and group business.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and familiarisation trips with clients and agencies to foster strong relationships and expand business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM tools and provide regular performance metrics to inform sales strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a hospitality sales role, preferably at a senior or strategic level, with a proven track record of developing and converting business leads.
- Demonstrated success in MICE sales is highly desirable, as is knowledge of the Irish tourism market and key international source markets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
