Job Title: Culinary Team Member

We are currently inviting applications for a dynamic and professional culinary team member to join our kitchen at the 4-star Killarney Towers Hotel. This role is perfect for an ambitious and enthusiastic chef who wants to make an impact in a positive, people-first workplace.

About The Role

As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that consistently exceed guest expectations. You will work closely with our culinary leadership team to maintain the high standards of our kitchen, support junior staff, and contribute to the ongoing innovation of our food offering.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across your designated section.
  • Supervise and guide junior chefs, supporting their development and ensuring consistent performance.
  • Uphold all food hygiene and safety regulations, including HACCP, and ensure your section operates in line with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, offering seasonal, creative, and cost-effective suggestions.
  • Manage mise en place for your section, ensuring readiness for each service.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and apply correct stock rotation practices to minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Take part in regular kitchen briefings, training sessions, and team meetings.

About You

We are looking for an experienced chef with strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. A passion for food presentation and consistency is essential, as is fluency in English.
