We are seeking an experienced backend platform engineer to lead the design and evolution of our systems. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical leadership and collaboration skills.

Job Description
  • You will own the technical strategy for core services, data, and runtime foundations.
  • You will partner closely with specialists to deliver secure, reliable, low-latency systems at global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define north-star architectures for APIs, data flows, events/streams, storage, consistency, and multi-tenant isolation.
  • Create paved roads by standardizing service templates, libraries, REST/event patterns, schema/versioning, automated testing, and documentation.
  • Drive SLOs/SLA design, capacity planning, graceful degradation, performance engineering, and cost/stewardship for traffic and LLM-adjacent workloads.

Requirements:

  • Building and operating backend/platform software with evidence of technical leadership and impact across teams.
  • Deep skill in Python and/or Java, strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and distributed-systems design.
