**Nursing Care Role Overview**

At our organization, we strive to provide exceptional nursing care that meets the unique needs of each resident. This role is designed to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care consistent with the nurse's educational training.

The nurse in this position will be responsible for adhering to all established Standards of Nursing Practices and organizational policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in a Registered Nurse licensure
  • Long-term care/rehab/assisted living experience preferred
  • Current licensure in the state where the nurse will be working as a Registered Nurse
  • IV Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • Current CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors, and staff
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are necessary
  • Critical thinking skills required
