Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an EMEA Recruitment Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional talent acquisition services while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. You will act as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, providing consultative direction and industry expertise to hiring leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, preferably within a life sciences industry. They should have experience with Boolean search techniques for sourcing, leveraging the latest digital technology, and proficient in PCs and MS Office. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and excellent follow-up abilities are essential for success in this role.

The position will support recruitment projects that benefit all Teleflex EMEA Business Units and HR business partnerships. Activities will involve direct recruiting efforts, job posting, interviews management, lead generation, and economical agreements with successful candidates. As the company grows, this role will support growth efforts and assist in finding ways to automate processes and increase productivity.

This position will follow a hybrid working model in our Athlone, Ireland office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the processes necessary for recruitment. Work with hiring managers to plan schedules for different round interviews.
2. Create and maintain recruitment information in HR systems.
3. Maintain a candidate database in accordance with EU laws.
4. Create and maintain various reports needed to track EMEA recruitment, cost of hires, hires/terms, etc.
5. Provide effective assistance/service to managers/employees with problem resolution and questions related to recruitment programs.
6. Assist with recruiting efforts, including developing job specs, posting on websites, reviewing applications/CVs, evaluating skills, interviewing job applicants on the phone or by video, candidate scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reporting, recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications, sending letters after positions are filled.
7. Assist in developing staffing strategies and implementation plans to identify talent within and outside the corporation for future positions.
8. Participate in various HR projects led by the EMEA HR group in relation to talent acquisition.
9. Capture BU needs about headcount, verify funding for received requests, and look for final approval from relevant stakeholders.
10. Coordinate, organize, and plan recruitment events with third parties (Universities, job fairs, etc.) while staying within budget.
11. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
12. Other duties/projects as assigned by manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

1. A Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of.
2. A minimum of three years results-oriented recruiting experience.
3. Experience within a life sciences industry (especially medical devices) is preferred.
