Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role:

SRA is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Advisory practice. This role involves working with various tool sets and client organizations, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineer and implement cybersecurity solutions to meet client needs.
  • Configure, tune, and analyze SIEM alerts for threat detection.
  • Document evidence of work in reports and status updates.
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategy to client stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, network security, or related field.
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs.
Desired Skills
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, Microsoft Sentinel).
  • Knowledge of log collection, parsing, and correlation rules.
  • Experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Understanding of IAM, conditional access policies, and secure by default concepts.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand. The role is remote but may require occasional work from the office. Travel may be necessary occasionally.
