The CIO Customer Solutions Data & Analytics team is a dynamic group dedicated to furthering analytics within the Customer Solutions business unit. Our goal is to enable our customers to live low-carbon lives by leveraging innovative data and AI solutions.

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in driving strategic business decisions based on data and facts. As a Data Analytics Solutions Manager, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to champion analytics and data-driven decision making.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team to identify actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  2. Proactively looking for ways to use data, analytics, and AI solutions to help the business take a data-driven approach when making key business decisions.
  3. Collaborating with ESB's Data and Analytics Manager on evolving and shaping the data and analytics strategy for the company.
  4. Defining, estimating, and planning the delivery of complex analytic products and services across multiple delivery streams for Customer Solutions.
  5. Working with IT & Digital Management to develop annual budgets for Data & Analytics programmes of work.
  6. Regularly updating senior stakeholders on status updates and progress of analytics work against time and budget.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience, preferably with 3 years in an IT role. You should have a relevant third-level qualification or equivalent working experience, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a good foundational knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and techniques.

As a leader in the utility industry, you will have strong numerical, IT, analytical, and communications skills. Proven ability to champion the benefits of analytics and promote its widespread use is essential. Experience with advanced analytics and AI technologies to drive business insights and innovation is also desirable.
