Transportation Engineering and Planning Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill the position of Transportation Engineer and Planner. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in transport modelling and a relevant engineering or planning degree.
Main Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary design teams and partners in developing transport networks for new towns, residential and commercial developments in accordance with DMURS regulations.
- Design and appraisal of Active Travel schemes (walking and cycling) in urban and rural environments including greenways.
- Provide assistance and advice to other departments on roads/highway design, street network design, car park design, and service access strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- At least 3 years transport modelling experience.
- A relevant engineering/planning degree and either hold or working towards Chartered status.
