Pizza Production Quality Lead

The primary goal of this role is to maintain and improve the quality management systems within our organization. This includes ensuring that products meet all specifications and adhere to customer codes of practice, legislation, and BRC requirements.
This involves driving process optimization to achieve zero defects and operator intervention-free production. Functional KPIs must be in place for operational excellence and continual improvement. The Quality Team will be managed effectively, and line trial samples, new Capex or layouts, and launches will be reviewed to ensure compliance with customer and legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System and manage competent authority requirements. Compliance to customer specifications, standards, and policies must be ensured at all times. Customer feedback and complaints will be addressed, and weekly trend analysis and improvement plans will be communicated.
A strong focus on team engagement is required, as well as the ability to identify potential problems from a quality perspective and implement corrective and preventative action plans. The HACCP plan must be managed effectively, ensuring safe product release every time.
