Global Employment Counsel – Leader of Best Practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of employment legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on a broad spectrum of employment law issues, including employee relations, performance management, internal investigations, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, culture initiatives, and employee data privacy.
  • Partner with the People Team to evaluate, develop, and maintain employment and HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Skill Requirements:

">
  • Minimum 10 years of labor and employment law experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and U.S. federal employment laws and best practices. Knowledge of California employment law is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of global employment laws, preferably including EMEA and/or APAC employment laws.
  • Qualification to practice law in Ireland or England/Wales.
  • In-house experience and/or experience advising technology clients as outside counsel.
  • Experience managing and leading a team of legal professionals.
  • Employment litigation experience, including discovery, strategy, and coordination with outside counsel.
  • Experience with internal workplace or compliance investigations.
  • A practical, business-oriented approach and excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal concepts into simple, actionable recommendations.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to grow.
