Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a key member of the Support Office team, you will play a critical role in supporting the full range of recruitment activities across the organization to meet hiring needs. This will involve working closely with Healthcare Managers, Directors of Nursing and Healthcare Direct Operations staff to understand staffing requirements, anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify cost-effective recruiting solutions.

The primary function of this role is to support the Talent Acquisition team in developing, initiating and executing sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates to fill open positions. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that all recruitment processes are streamlined and efficient, including interviewing, permit applications, compliance documentation, social media and answering daily recruitment queries.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with interviewing, permit applications, compliance documentation, social media, and answering daily recruitment queries in a timely manner.
  • Work with various government agencies in obtaining work permits for overseas staff.
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment administration, including creating contracts of employment and offer letters, as well as maintaining soft copy employee files.
  • Working with Care Centers and Healthcare Direct to define role requirements, identifying recruitment channels, sourcing, developing, and providing tools for screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates, monitoring pipelines through to candidate acceptance.
  • Identify and attract potential candidates from a wide variety of sources, including social networks, executive recruitment, and networking channels.
  • Proactively managing the Mowlam Healthcare and Healthcare Direct careers webpage and general recruitment marketing strategy with the Marketing team.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and makes suggestions to improve the recruitment process, policies, and strategy, contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Work with recruitment agencies and vendors to support recruiting processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR Team to support the organizational HR agenda.
  • Involvement in Recruitment and HR projects as required.
  • Responsible for updating and refreshing vacancies on Candidate Manager (ATS).
  • Assist in the preparation of Talent Acquisition reports and presentations.
